I was very excited to download this app and get more insight into the characters and the VA world. However, the app is really terrible. Ill start with the basic bugs that need to be fixed.

1. You have to repurchase all the books over again to get the added information. Yuk! I have all the books in hardcover. It would be great if you could type in your purchase sku and get a digital version.
2. I wanted to check the app out, so I re-purchased book one. The font is a good size & I liked the little insights that the author hid throughout the book. However, there is no easy way for you to bookmark your page & the app doesnt keep track of your place in the book. So, if the app gets closed, you have to remember what page/section you are on. The programmers need to take some user experience tips from Kindle.
3. The character image section of the site is cool because you can see how 2 characters interact but the images are all wrong. I realize that they just used the images from the book covers but they dont look anything like the characters in the book. If this app is going to grow and have staying power, the producers need to have the art department read the book & correct the images. For example, Rose is not blonde.
4. There is no way to highlight & save a phrase or a portion of the book that you can then share with the community. In todays digital age of sharing, they should have integrated Get Glue, FB, Twitter and some other basic networks so you could share with your inner circles & drive other people to read the book or discuss the scene.

I hope the app was launched early and that they try and fix the bugs. The content is good. There is a HUGE opportunity here to do some transmedia storytelling and really involve the reader. Take some tips from Pottermore & Kindle.
